Sometimes kids surprise

I asked the class to vote when they preferred to do 2 hours of science among the 6 available (2 on Tuesday, 2 on Thursday and 2 on Friday), the only condition was that the 2 hours of science were on 2 different days.
A part of the class said that he preferred to do these 2 hours on Tuesdays and Fridays, another part on Tuesday and Thursday.
I decided to put the matter to a vote, but a child said that there was a third option: Thursday and Friday.
Then I asked her if she wanted to also vote on that possibility but she said she preferred, however, on Tuesdays and Fridays, she just wanted the class and I know that there was a third possibility.
What a brilliant mind!
He considered my question as a math problem “given 3 days of the week, find all the possible combinations to do 2 science lessons on different days”.
